“ Ok we eat at various Chinese & Japanese restaurants 6 or 7 times a month. Despite South Augusta having close to a Dozen places only a 2, sometime 3 are worth the trip and price. We recently started using Garden Cheng a Husband and Wife run location about 3 weeks ago. After seeing issues at our previously, best local Chinese food area location. Up front , it is a hole in the wall, only has 4 tables and 95+% of the business is locals ordering picking up and booking it home to eat. Chicken Fried Rice 8/10 - not greasy, done well, and we just add a little more salt. Sweet-n-Sour Chicken 8/10 - not greasy, done well and taste great as is. Fried Chicken Wings 8/10 for plain, and 9/10 for Chinese and 8/10 for Teriyaki Pork Egg Rolls - Loaded up, Done right, Taste great and not cooking oil dripping seen or tasted and at a price as of (08-01-2023) of 2 for $2.40. The Wife who is also the asst cook and cashier is consistently sweet, polite and quick in handling orders. The husband also came cross just as nice and polite. We have tried this location now 4 times, since Mid-July and have yet to find an issue with order and food. While the Eating area is clean, the Decor could use some attention, But like we said the food is great and low-priced. ”

“ While out visiting friends, decided we wanted some Chinese takeout. This place had some decent reviews so we went with them. We should up 30mins before closing on a Sunday and it only took about 15mins for our order to be ready ( we ordered a lot). Food was good, but it did have my friends stomach turning after eating (maybe to much oil for them) But I will definitely order from them again when I'm in town. ”

“ Although they have tables, this is more of a take-out restaurant. Parking is minimal. The good news is that the food is great. Quality ingredients priced appropriately. Brown sauce is a little on the sweet side. Ordered 3 things so can't vouch for everything. Will definitely order take out from here again. Note: they advertise no msg, however they can't remove the msg from some of the ingredients that they use in the sauce. Not terrible. ”
